WELCOME TO SSB SWIM SCHOOL
SSB Swim School was formed by Jackie Reeves, Hilary Silverman and Linda Hooker in 2004 following many requests from parents to provide structured, individual swimming tuition for their children, in a fun, safe and secure environment.
Since those early days, SSB Swim School has gradually grown and we now provide swimming lessons to more than 450 pupils each week.
With only 6 children in each class, we certainly provide them with personal tuition. Each of our pupils is assessed every term. When they have achieved all of the criteria set out by the ASA, they are awarded with a certificate and badge and moved to the next level class, where appropriate.
Pupils are assessed on their individual aquatic ability and progress - not their age.
We believe we have found perfect venues at Handcross Park School for our weekend lessons and our new small, warm, private pool in Lower Beeding for beginners to Stage 4 pupils after school, during the week.
Handcross Park School Pool: Lessons are held on Friday evenings between 4.00 and 7.30pm, Saturdays between 08.30 and 5.00pm at Handcross Park School. For a 12 week term the cost is £84.
Beedinglee, Lower Beeding: We are now pleased to be able to provide after school classes in our new, quiet, warm, private pool in Lower Beeding on Mondays to Fridays between 3.30pm and 5.30pm. These classes are aimed at young school aged children, from beginner up to Stage 5. The cost for these lessons is £60 for a six week half term or £120 for the full term.
